Good evening! Today is a special day for me. A year ago today, 1 October 2013, at The Riverfront, I was having fish and chips. It was delicious. Then I was on about my love of fish and chips. And for the very first time, I expressed my wish to disseminate my opinion on Fish and Chips. Here I am a year later, I am a proud fish and chips critic. Yey! Dream can come true!
1. Fish 6/10. Yes nice, but totally spoiled by sauce, it was not tartar sauce. It was aioli. Absolutely no need to be garlicky for fish and chips. Wrongly try to be different, or was this pure mistake, reading from menu?
2. Chips. 6/10 Has got some salty taste already which was actually very nice. However, soggy.
3. Peas 7/10 Very minty, lovely. Lost points on presentation.
Overall 6/10. I must say, overall I was disappointed. I had such a brilliant fish and chips memory, the reality did not meet my expectation. £13 was not justified too.
Wanted your opinion! Do you think £13 for fish and chips justifiable wherever the location is?
Good night!!! …………Then. 2am, I was up because my husband was puking. He did not have fish and chips, he had “pulled pork burger”. So strictly speaking, I was not a victim of food poisoning but I have an iron stomach. However, I decided to be fair. The final score 6/10 remain unchanged. Though I thought I better informed my fans…
