Wow! I have not seen £16.50 in the pub setting for ages – in this era of cost of living crisis…
Fish 10/10 : check this out! The big big chunky haddock – simple batter, steamy hot, thick flesh seasoned with simple rock salt – so nice to munch nice big fish in my mouth – cooked well – juicy throughout from thick part of flesh to thin part of tail! I give you full mark for the size of the fish
Chips 8/10 Normal chips but tasty – definitely triple cooked! I ate so quickly – just wanted to enjoy while they were so hot!
Pea : 7/10 Definitely home cooked crushed minted peas – as it says on the menu, no disappointment here.
Throughly enjoyed great freshly cooked fish and chips – shame it was so dark I could not enjoy “visual effect” but hey, you also have to commend the pricing too!
