THE DIGNITY, London, N3 1DH, 23 May 2014
Yey! Friday again folks, ¡Feliz viernes! This is not a Friday, but a Friday before bank holiday. However, I am sooooo stressed. I should have been here 3 hours ago. Why our lives are getting so busy?!?!?
It is 9:30pm. Kitchen will be closed at 10:00pm. Quick, need to order!!! Woops, beer was great, perfect temperature with right amount of fizziness to take my stress away. 10/10!! Well done!

Fish & Chips, – sustainabley cauught (obviously!) hake in cider & tarragon batter, double cooked chips£11.75. Slightly bullish price for zone 4.
In fact, this is a quite surprising price. The Catcher in the RYE is only a few blocks down, offering fish and chips @£10.75. However, it should not be too difficult to compete with quality, oh, am I mean to say this?

MMM… not a great first impression to be honest, looked small portion and all looked very brown. , the man is still behind me.

Ah, how could I be so wrong… look at my face, all stress disappeared. A man behind me still there. Who are you? I must admit I felt like I was spied all the time. Are you another fish and chips critic by any chance?
1. Fish : 6/10. Batter was excellent. Steamy hot, but fish was a bit “frakey” not as moist as how I want. Is this because it was hake not haddock (which I love with skin of course!)? Will somebody lecture me!
2. Chips 11/10! This means 110%. Absolutely delicious. Every single bite I was saying “OISHII! (delicious in my language)”. I often give away some of my chips but this time, I could have a whole another portion. Absolutely exceeded my expectation. Clearly prepared from scratch and wonderfully executed without any old frying oil. Crisp, tasty, potatoiy, hot, cannot fault.
3. Peas: 6/10. Usual crush peas. Nothing wrong with them, butterly, pealy, but could have done with a hint of mint.
Overall great, I am scoring you generous 7/10 almost all because chips was divine. Though well done mate. We will be back. No wonder you were so busy compared to your neighbour.
Good night!
